i suddenly remembered the show square one tv on PBS, from when i was really young (apparently 1987-1991). this show played a big factor in me becoming enthralled in mathematics.

there were other great shows besides the popular sesame street - the edison twins, reading rainbow.

even as i was in my early teens, shows like bill nye and wishbone were entertaining and informative at the same time.

i hope todays children's shows are as cool - i have not watched blue's clues, dora the explorer or baby einsteins but have heard mixed review
