A lot has/is happening in the past month. We found out that our good friend Vince is moving to Calgary which is sad but exciting for him. He shall be missed : (

I went to Orange County for a few days to meet with a client, networx online. It was good to meet the people I have been remotely working with for a couple of months now.

Tressa and I started and finished all of our Christmas shopping in two evenings last week. Glad to not have to fight the crowds anymore this year. I am looking forward to spending some time with family this holiday season.

This is also the time of year when music magazines all publish their top album of the year lists. I enjoy creating my own favorite lists of the year and have done so since 2007. So anticipate another one soon. 2011 was an abundant year for good music and so this year was much easier to fill ten slots then last year was.

Hello everyone. I am very busy at the moment, but here is a quick update of my goings on.

Yesterday, Tressa and I went to a Kings of Leon concert. We both thought it was pretty good but not exceptional. It was very nice to get out and take in some live music.

I am currently finishing a single chapter as a collaborative author for the upcoming book HTML 5 Games Most Wanted. This project looks very cool as it discusses several very distinct and current topics. The book does not yet have a cover image. My chapter will be entitled "Beginning WebGL" which is the Web Graphics Language.

Here's a hodgepodge of stuff: Wedding planning is going fairly well. I turn 30 on October 21st. Looking forward to Halloween - seeing Tressa's M&M costume and the Pipster's costume (whatever she is gonna be). And I hope to have some interesting news in a few weeks (no it's not a child)...

i have not blogged in a long time. amongst events that i can recall - went to a great "tv on the radio" concert, holidays with tressa, tim's bachelor party, bought a wii, won a street hockey tournament, went to a wedding in tisdale

ok, so blogging has clogged to a halt. i've been very busy. i will try to do a quick recap of events:

1) got a new job in saskatoon with zu.com communications

2) went on a independent roadtrip through Saskatoon-Lloydminster-Edmonton-Calgary where i met with friends and family along the way, including my new niece Berlyn Marie Code. also made living arrangements for the summer.

3) finished working for the chinook school division last friday

4) have been packing the last few days and playing ball hockey the last couple of nights

5) move back to saskatoon on thursday
